How to send your device in to TecFix for Repair?

First fill out the form below and you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Then ship your device in to the address provided at the bottom of this site. We will create a new ticket and provide a free estimate for the repair once the device is received. Please make sure to include your name, number and email inside the box so we can match your device with the form you submitted. You may also print a copy of the confirmation e-mail and include it inside the box you are shipping. It is highly recommended you use a shipping service with tracking such as Canada Post, UPS, DHL, Purolator.

How long does a repair take?

This depends on the device you are sending and it’s issue. If you are sending in a mobile device or tablet for small parts replacement such as a broken screen or charging port, we typically have this done and return shipped out the same day or the next. If sending in MacBooks for motherboard repair, this can take anywhere from one day to several weeks depending on the severity of the issue.

What if I don’t want to proceed with the repair?

If you don’t want to proceed with the repair, we will charge you $30 + return shipping to have the device returned to you.

How could I pay?

Once completed, an invoice will be sent out to your e-mail which you can pay via VISA, MasterCard, American Express, INTERAC e-Transfer or certified check/money order made out to TecFront Electronics Inc.

    PAYMENT WITHIN 45 DAYS. Once a repair is approved and then completed, an invoice will be sent to you for payment. We have the right to keep your personal property until payment is rendered. If payment is not made within 45 days, the device will be discarded or resold. We will notify you via e-mail and phone call, but it is your responsibility to check with us if the repair is completed.

    MINIMUM REPAIR. We will provide a FREE repair estimate after a basic diagnosis which identifies the most likely issue. However, if you do not proceed with the repair, there is a basic $30 mail-in diagnostic charge plus return shipping to have the device returned to you. We will discard the device after 45 days of sending the repair estimate if no approval to proceed with repair is given to us.

    PERSONAL DATA. We make every effort to protect your personal data, however if data loss occurs during a repair, TecFix does not assume responsibility or liability. It is highly recommended to back up all data before sending your device to us for repair. We understand that in some cases, data back up is not possible which is why we take every precaution to minimize risk of data loss.

    ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHOD. Payment methods accepted are cash, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, INTERAC e-Transfer, certified check/money order. We reserve the right to keep a device until payment is made.
